I find many empty cups here. Here is a little play I've written that might explain why:
Scene - a person walks down the street, sipping on a coffee.

"Mmm, this is some pretty good coffee!"

slurp

"Oh my god! I've drunk all the coffee!"

The person looks visibly shaken, panicked even.

"I'M OUT OF COFFEE!! I NEED MORE CAFFEINE!!"

Person looks to the vending machines

"Oh, well then. This will do."

END SCENE.

CSI: THP

this picture came out really shitty, but I decided to share it anyway. I was taking pictures in the dark, in the alley that runs between our building and the market next door. With the flash popping, it felt like a bizarre Canadian version of CSI, what with the flattened cup and the coffee splatter . . .

I've been pretty good at taking pictures for the THP now. I wasn't for a while, I felt funny about taking pictures of litter, so I'd just sort of snap and keep walking.

Also, since finishing my Project 365 in the fall, I'm not taking as many pictures anymore and I'm taking my time with the THP - trying to make the shots more interesting (to me, anyway). I'm also getting used to the "What is she doing?" looks and whispers, so that's good. I say, screw that noise, I've got a project to work on!
